Acharei Mot-after the death
Torah: Lev 16:1-18:30
Haftarah: Ezek 22:1-22:19
Apostolic:1Cor 6:9-20
“Death, Eternity… is not perpetual future but perpetual presence. He has planted in us the seed of eternal life. The world to come is not only a hereafter but also a HEARNOW. Abrahan Joshua Heschel.”
This week Torah portion reminds us that mankind cannot devise his own ways to atone for sin. Since the beginning, mankind has believed the lie that God’s way is not the only way. We can determine our own destiny and create our own righteousness. Ever since sin entered the world mankind has rebelled against God. Mankind think’s we can, “pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps.” But this isn’t so…
There is only one way of atonement, because there is only one Holy God, and His holiness can be satisfied in only one way: Through the sacrifice made by the appointed mediator. The laws given are clear; (Yom Kippur foreshadows the specific ultimate sacrifice mediated by the Ultimate Cohen Gadol, the anointed one Yeshua).
The payment of sin, made through the giving of His Life as a substitutionary sacrifice, upon the execution stake, is presented to the Father on behalf of His people through His intersession on their behalf.
As Passover approaches, we look forward to the return of Yeshua the Messiah, who is our appointed High Priest “anointed and ordained “to accomplish eternal redemption for the people. “Full article by Tim Hegg available at Torah resources website >>> https://torahresource.com/
This is what we need to realize, Yeshua is the only way to redemption, renewal, and revival. Our nation is under attack, no party or one individual can save us. We need to examine our hearts and minds. Clean out the junk and press into Yeshua like never before. Over this Passover, enjoy the Sedar, enjoy friends and Bless our savior.
The Birth pains are going into Labor now… please prepare yourself through faith to be a light and fight the good fight .
Blessing’s and thank You
