Brit Chadashah: Matthew 5: 8-20
Please continue to pray, fast and fight in the spiritual realm for the USA. Many things continue behind the scenes. Not sure everyone saw pictures of Joe Biden signing order in a mocked up white house. People were walking around outside.
So, the reality is he is not even at the White House, destroying America with his executive orders. I still believe Trump will be back as president.
This week’s torah portion is about the Ten commandments being given at mount Sinai. Tying it to the Abrahamic promise. The biblical text goes to a lot of trouble to show how those who participate in Abraham’s faith in God, the Torah given as a light for ones path, full of answers to how life should be lived, will be Blessed. Those who curse God and His people, however, will be condemned by the torah and the torah becomes a curse to them.
I find it interesting that old Joe, went back to the two-state solution and the Palestinians forsaking Israel again. Basically, cursing America. He also went back to the Iranian deal which will bring back terrorism AND HORRIFIC ATTACKS IN THE MIDDLE EAST.
Torah reminds us in this portion that leadership is ordered and important. God recognizes that leaders need wisdom, truth, personal integrity and are men who hate dishonest gain. Leadership requires humility, spiritual strength, and personal integrity. These cannot be tested in a day or week or month. Leaders are supposed to come from the community who see how these men and women live out their lives.
The emerging Christian church began to forsake these ideas and incorporate the Greek mindset. One could “believe” something with this “BELIEF” changing the way they lived. This Platonic or Greek mindset became the norm. Those who were teachers with credentials were sought after. So, leaders now have shifted their demonstration of wisdom, to the amount of time and degrees from a worldly academia. I am not saying much cannot be learned from teachers. But a person should not make life changes decisions in there lives by what an unknown teacher or leader says.
As Americas we know this that’s why Trump won. Old Joe demonstrates none of the qualities of a good leader. God knows our hearts have faith.
