As we approach the return of Yeshua and the Messianic era, many people believe that there will be no suffering and that they will be raptured out. However, I believe that we are raptured at the end of the tribulations, after we have fought, prayed, and been lights in the darkness.
If we look at the Exodus, before the Israelites were freed from Egypt, or from the world, they suffered under Pharaoh. Suffering has always been a means of atonement for sins. When they were told to make bricks without straw, can you imagine the suffering? They had to find straw in the dark with lanterns. Did they even sleep? The labor of gathering straw to make bricks was grueling. Then, they witnessed the ten plagues. While they didn’t suffer the plagues directly, they saw the effects it had on Egypt.
Now, fast forward to our time. If we view Trump as a leader chosen by God to right some of the wrongs in our nation, he will be seen as the head of Rome. He will hold this position until the appearance of the Antichrist. When Trump lost the 2020 election, and the subsequent theft of the election occurred, Biden and Harris worked to undo everything Trump had accomplished. Our nation suffered under COVID, inflation, woke culture, and endless abuse. Yet, even through this, we will still witness the ten plagues and the events described in the Book of Revelation. God wants Trump to help cleanse the evil from our nation, and we, as His people, are called to assist in this mission as His lights and ambassadors on Earth.
For God to destroy evil, He allows it to run its course. This is why we have suffered under the policies and hatred of our own government—truly unbelievable evil. Look at Canada and the world today: dictatorships, vaccine mandates, and more. God permits these things so that He can later bring about justice and completely destroy evil. Evil will remain powerful for a time, but after a period, God will remove it. Trump’s role is to help cleanse the land and guide the world back to God. Then, the remnant of God will be stronger than ever, having been empowered through God’s overthrow of the current evil. We will then be ready to face the Antichrist. Trials and tribulations only make us stronger, and our faith grows in these difficult environments.
In the Exodus, the Israelites were trapped against the Red Sea, but God made a way for them to escape. We, too, will face a similar situation with the Antichrist, but he will not prevail. God will make a way. As the window of light closes in our world, darkness will grow. When that window finally closes, the victory will belong to good. The enemy will have done all he can, but God will send Yeshua to decimate evil completely. Lift up your heads, O gates, for our redemption draws near!
